  1. HOW TO INSTALL SOUNDS AND NOISES

  3. 1. Copy the downloaded file SANDN11.ZIP and copy it
  4. to an empty directory, for example C:\MISC
  5. You can create a new directory from the DOS prompt by typing 
  6.     MD c:\misc  
  7. followed by enter. Then switch to the directory that
  8. holds SANDN11.ZIP (e.g. C:\CSERVE\DOWNLOAD) and type
  9.     CD C:\CSERVE\DOWNLOAD    (for example)
  10. followed by enter, then
  11.     COPY SANDN11.ZIP C:\MISC
  12. followed by enter.

  14. 3. Switch to the C:\MISC directory by typing
  15.     CD C:\MISC
  16. followed by enter.

  18. 4. Use PKUNZIP to unzip the file by typing
  19.     PKUNZIP SANDN11.ZIP
  20. followed by enter.

  22. 5). Check the files by doing a Directory list by typing
  23.     DIR SETUP.EXE 
  24. followed by enter.  You should see a size description.
  25.  
  26. 6). In Windows, click on Program Manager File menu.
  27. Select Run.. and type the following exactly
  28.     C:\MISC\SETUP
  29. Then click OK, or hit enter.  You will see Sounds and Noises
  30. Setup begin.  Follow the instructions.

  32. 7).  Once you are happy Sounds and Noises is installed,
  33. you can delete the directory you installed from, in this
  34. case, C:\MISC, using File Manager's Delete command, in the
  35. File Menu. Copy SANDN11.ZIP to a floppy, for backup.
